Telangana and Andhra Pradesh continue to experience unusually low temperatures and dense fog, with winter conditions affecting daily life and travel across several districts. Early morning fog has reduced visibility on highways and arterial roads, while dipping temperatures have made conditions challenging for commuters, farmers, and outdoor workers.
According to weather officials, parts of northern Telangana, interior Andhra Pradesh, and urban pockets such as Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam are witnessing colder-than-normal nights. Dense fog during early hours has led to slower traffic movement and occasional delays in road and rail services.
Health experts have advised residents to take precautions, especially children, senior citizens, and those with respiratory conditions. Exposure to cold winds and foggy conditions can aggravate health issues, prompting authorities to recommend warm clothing and limited early-morning travel where possible.
Transport departments have urged motorists to drive cautiously, use fog lights, and maintain safe distances while travelling during low-visibility hours. Farmers have also been advised to monitor crops closely, as sudden temperature drops can impact certain agricultural activities.
